EMS offers a comprehensive range of purchasing solutions — from single component supply in one delivery to JIT/Kanban despatch and complete kit supply. We are able to take care of all our electronic, mechanical or other purchasing requirements to make your experience as smooth as possible.
Based on site in Newbury, the procurement team works closely with sales and, at times, directly with our customers’ design engineers; this ensures full visibility across all projects and enables the team to offer expert advice and reassurance to our customers.
EMS offers a range of stock holding solutions such as buffer component stock, Kanban stock and consolidated shipments which can help to maximise flexibility and minimise lead times. We can also ship to multiple locations.
All of our stock is managed and traceable throughout and we supply both partial and full kits or free issue parts. For your production requirements, we hold a large stock of standard resistors and capacitors, allowing us to focus on the components unique to your assembly.
EMS’ order processing, stock control and stock traceability are provided via our material requirements planning (MRP) system, Factory Master. The system ensures our commitment to quality and precision runs throughout our component sourcing.
In today’s fast-moving manufacturing world, efficiency isn’t optional—it’s essential. That’s where Factory Master, the powerful Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system, comes in. Factory Master gives us the visibility, control, and confidence to deliver on time, every time.
Factory Master helps ease the complexity of manufacturing. From raw material planning to finished goods, it provides us a single, intuitive platform that helps us coordinate production schedules, manage inventory, and meet customer demand—without the chaos of spreadsheets or disconnected systems.
With Factory Master, our data works for us and supports:
Traceability isn’t just about compliance—it’s about trust, quality, and control. Factory Master gives us that full end-to-end traceability, allowing us to track every component, batch, and process step through the entire manufacturing lifecycle.
