EMS invests in EBSO 250 SPA selective soldering machine

Thatcham, UK – EMS announced today the commission of a EBSO 250 SPA selective soldering machine from Blundell Production Equipment. 

This machine enhances the flexibility of our PTH Assembly production solution by providing automated soldering of PTH joints on high mix single and double sided PCBs.

“I have been a fan of selective soldering for many years and the ongoing investment strategy of EMS has now been focused on our PTH solutions,” said Bernard Chubb, Managing Director of EMS.  “The EBSO 250 SPA is easily programmed and provides EMS and our customers with enhanced production flexibility targeted specifically at high mix, high technology, complex assemblies.”
