Wire Harness & Cabling

EMS has recently upgraded its wire harness, cabling and crimping solutions.  We are able to offer a full range of solutions for your assembly from cables cut and stripped to length to complete wire harness assemblies. 

Our solutions include:

  • Wire / cable cut and stripped to length.
  • Crimped wire / cable assemblies.
  • D-type wire harnesses.
  • Co-axial wire harnesses.
  • Ribbon cable assemblies.

Wire Cutting & Stripping

  • A Komax Kappa 310 automatic stripping machine capable of processing;
    • Lengths of 1mm to 999,999mm.
    • Cross sectional area (CSA) from 0.2mm2 to 6.0mm2 (AWG34-10).
    • Outside diameter up to 10mm.
    • A variety of wire & cable, including – single core, multi core, multi strand & coaxial.
  • Quality - the Komax Kappa 310 incorporates a laser sensor to automatically calibrate the outside diameter of the wire / cable and an induction core to sense and avoid damage to the inner cores / strands.
  • Precision - the Kappa 310 has an accuracy of ±0.2% of the total cut length of each wire.

Crimping

  • A WDT SSC-2FP Safety Press for crimping bulk / loose crimps from any manufacturer, designed for low to medium volume production.
  • A Tyco AMP 3K/40 Press for crimping a complete range of reel fed crimps from any manufacturer, designed for medium to high volume production.
