EMS installs Panasonic CM101-D with Long Stroke 8 Nozzle HeadThatcham, UK – Electronic Manufacturing Solutions Limited announced today the purchase and installation of a brand new Panasonic CM101-D with a Long Stroke 8 Nozzle Head. The CM101-D is a very flexible machine capable of placing a large range of components down to 01005” and high technology components including BGA, uBGA, QFN, CSP, POP (Package On Package) and large odd-form components in excess of 100 x 50 mm. Electronic Manufacturing Solutions Managing Director Bernard Chubb said, “This machine represents a major investment for EMS and is the latest in a series of significant improvements at EMS. This machine provides very high flexibility and is supplied with a large range of feeders and a 20 slot direct tray feeder to maximise this inherent flexibility”. The CM101-D is controlled by Panasonic’s PT200 software, and is supplied, installed complete with training provided by Panasonic Factory Solutions Europe. The software provides a very detailed user friendly interface and represents a firm core from which to build and grow allowing future investments to be integrated as the company continues the strong growth it has been seeing. 12th April 2011
