About EMSHistory Established as a test house in 1998 EMS entered the CEM market in 2000. In 2004 we moved to a 2,500 sq ft facility which enabled the business to grow and expand. In December 2008 we relocated to a new 5,700 sq ft facility in Thatcham, Berkshire. This new location increases / improves our accessibility and provides much needed space for future growth and investment. With our ongoing investment strategy we are able to offer a range of production solutions from one off component supply to the assembly of high technology, high mix assemblies. Chip components down to 0201 and high technology components including QFN, CSP and BGA packages. As soon as we receive an order it is loaded onto our MRP system, EMACs, provided by Surestead Solutions. Your product and components are imported into the system from your origin data. EMACs provides EMS with order processing, stock control, stock traceability and production scheduling capabilities. The data is checked for quality purposes and once it is in the system all further processes stem from it. The MRP system generates purchase requirements for your product and is exported to our CAM software, CircuitCam, provided by Aegis Industrial Software Inc. The CircuitCam software allows EMS to standardise production instructions thus ensuring quality throughout production. CircuitCam is capable of detailing any special instructions with drawings and photographs. CircuitCam also produces all of the machine programmes for Panasonic SMT placement, AOI inspection and EBSO selective soldering. This ensures quality and integrity throughout the production process.
